What We Do.

The Labour Guy provides a comprehensive range of services, which include: 

DISCIPLINARY HEARINGS

This service includes attendance at the Company’s premises, chairing of the enquiry, assistance in drafting and formulating charges appropriately, a comprehensive summary and finding document and recommended sanction and outcome.

GRIEVANCES

We assist with mediation of internal grievance processes arising either between employer and an employee or between two employees respectively. We ensure that the mediation process is handled fairly, transparently and equitably to ensure restoration of the employment relationship.

MUTUAL SEPARATIONS

We assist to negotiate mutual separation processes from inception to completion, ensuring that the termination of the employment relationship is affected in full and final settlement, mitigating all risk for the Company related to future claims or legal proceedings.

EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS

We draft and customise employment agreements in line with the prescripts of the BCEA and those of your business’s needs. These include fixed term, permanent and independent agreements.

COMPANY POLICIES

TLG offers a wide range of company policies that regulates any employer-employee relationship. Policies are an integral part of our business as we believe setting the correct standards and regulations is key to a successful employment relationship.

RETRENCHMENT SERVICES

TLG manages the full retrenchment/restructuring process for our clients, starting with the initial consultation to understand the business rationale behind the possible retrenchment, through to the consultations with those affected, and then finally the termination procedure of the employment relationship. The entire process followed by TLG is aligned to that of the Labour Relations Act of South Africa.

PAYROLL SERVICES

TLG provides the full scope of payroll services, administered via an online application, which our clients and their employees would have access to, via the interactive self-service portal. The full range of payroll services includes all payroll processing, EMP 201 + 501 reconciliations and monthly UIF declarations.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

The services covered under our employee relations component include the daily management of employee misconduct, incapacity, poor performance, probationary monitoring, job description development as well as performance management, KPI setting and reviews.
